Last week, we had been to Aksa beach (check post Shells!! for last year experience) after almost a year. Last year, it was on two wheeler and this time on four wheeler, as my friend and her hubby too joined us for our night stay in beach cottage.

Sunday evening before Diwali, I just anyhow finished my cleaning work at home including refrigerator and washing machine. I was planning to make some sweets and snacks on Monday. But as we say.. man proposes but god disposes… he had some another plans that entered into my house about 2.30 midnight with sound of utensils… A big monster mouse on window’s grill in kitchen!!! Oh god! It looked.. just.. just… can’t express.. something scary plus irritating.. before we can absorb the shock.. it just hidden itself..

Thanks to my brother, who made me a blogger. Before July’10, I was totally unaware of the term “blog”. He taught me everything about it from the scratch, creating a post, SEO, networking and so on. Also advised to register myself in some association kind of, for bloggers, so I can attend bloggers meet in future, to have a real feeling of the virtual world.

You know, how it is with we non working or say stay at home mothers.. we grumble.. grumble and grumble.. no end to it. We are non working by choice, nobody compelled us to.. as we prioritize our life by upbringing of our children… but some or other thing, say financial insecurities or lack of self identity or lack of our own space and so on.. so called reasons or say bluntly excuses are many, we simply grumble, sometimes even for no reason. I happen to attend my first blogger’s meet on last Saturday. As it was a promotional venture of a reality cookery show Master chef, my expectations from the meet were really limited. I expected it to be about food and about shining glamor of TV show. I am not at all a foodie, rather sick of watching all cookery shows on TV, as my hubby and 5 year old, watch those on TV, almost whole day (that includes repeat telecast too ). Still, I decided to attend it , to capture some “me time”, some new experience, some confidence to meet new people, travel quiet away from my four walls well, some unexpected feelings, a trip of R K Studio and of course, networking and socializing with other fellow bloggers, if possible.

And it turned out , just opposite to what I had expected. Being on TV show promotion, one expect everything to be unreal and plastic, but it turned out, all about emotions and feelings. We all strangers, say fellow bloggers as well judges of Master Chef got connected instantly through emotions, I know that’s how we human are suppose to connect fast. Thanks to judges for giving this meet, totally a new flavor. Yeah!! The set was no doubt, awesome but talks from judges, who were so humble, so down to the earth, came just straight from their heart… I have no words to portray… this was really unexpected!!!

Food is all about emotions!! They proved it, sharing and making us share memories attached with food. Food makes many memories just because emotions are attached to it. I agree completely. It made me recall one of my favorite post My mom is the best cook!! And that struck everybody’s chord over there, at once. The chief judge shared one childhood memory…. they were undergoing some financial crisis, so elders of the home managing anyhow a  compelled fast, but children were served boiled potatoes with some curry, almost regularly to survive. When he objected once that he didn’t want to have daily same potatoes. His grandmother said.. Please have it.. yesterday it was Curry potato and today it is potato curry!! My eyes were wet and still are wet while penning down here. Yeah yesterday, elders made it with half filled stomach and today they made it with more emptier and so more intense love than yesterday!!

They made us, observe silence for a minute for the recent death of one of fellow blogger’s mother and also put us in pressure tests of cutting, dicing and chopping. We enjoyed both extremes from heart to head!!

Thanks to everybody, judges of masterchef, fellow bloggers and yes to indiblogger ( an asoociation of Indian bloggers, which organized this meet).

I am not a foodie person but definately I am an emotional person and that makes me foodie… as potato curry or curry potato… both are emotions!!

We easily blame Global warming for the extinction of certain species… And most of the time, we are right. Oil spills, thining of ozone layer and so soaring temperatures, etc, etc. The list of reasons and so their bad effects is bit long and so is the list of extinct species.

But I happen to get one more cruel reason for the extinction, cruel in the sense, as it is direct action of human, it is selfish act of human, just for sake of earning some good money, they do not give a thought about it. Khushi, when human don’t mind killing another human and selling human body parts, for money, how they will think of any other species? Yeah!! But I know and believe, those are very few, still humanity is alive to the large extent.

People will be wondering after few years, where all giant turtles have gone, how it is becoming a rare species. And as I said, many of us will blame Global warming. But the reason is “The Turtle eggs are stolen to be sold. ” ?????

Wake up friends!! We can still save one of species from becoming extinct!!! We can save turtles from becoming extinct.

This is my 100th post on my blog Journey of khushi .. from happiness to happiness.  The journey started with so called happiness.. and has reached some real happiness today. I am looking to the world with some different angle, all together a new perception… and that has changed the destination.. the happiness.. definition of the happiness.

Thank you God for sending so many angels, my friends, to share and guide me through out the journey.
