I am trying best to come out of the mess, so called death rites has made in my brain, but feeling really helpless.. just can’t come out of it. Can anybody justify these rituals and help me coming out of it?

My younger sister was law was not allowed to see dead body of my mother, as she is pregnant??? She was really upset about this. Can one justify this? One side we try best to keep a pregnant lady in good spirits and other side made her upset, leave her life time regret.

A Christian boy proposed a Hindu girl. Hindu girl informed about it to her parents as she wanted to say “yes”. Her parents met boy and his parents, they liked him, said “yes”. Does this sound simple and smooth? Yeah it went apparently very smooth at home, but might created turbulence out of home. Great thing is, in home people stayed calm,strong and together. So they won. It is not a common picture for an Indian society, but accepted happily, with smiling face is something I still amaze about.

Khushi in her childhood and adolescent, was very “khush” ie, happy child, but very often used get feeling in this “man” world, why am I a girl? Why things are different with her than her brother. If, he achieve something mom tell everybody with proud but Khushi does something good, not appreciated much.
